Abstract

1530489 Recovering mercury; flash evaporators B P CHEMICALS Ltd 15 June 1977 [15 June 1976 8 July 1976] 24721/76 and 28429/76 Addition to 1373771 Heading BIB [Also in Division C7] The process for recovering mercury from aqueous solutions is identical with that of the Parent Application, except that the inert gas, introduced into the flash distillation zone to increase the rate of mass transfer of Hq from the liquid to the vapour phase, is now introduced in the form of a super saturated aqueous solution.
