Abstract
1420954 Sulphur recovery BRITISH GAS CORP 14 June 1973 [14 June 1972] 27766/72 Heading CIA Sulphur is extracted from aqueous slurries containing it using carbon disulphide at or substantially at its boiling point as solvent. The sulphur may be isolated from its solution in CS 2 by passing the solution into a vessel containing molten sulphur, the evaporated solvent being condensed and returned to the solution stage if desired.
