Abstract

1527271 Glazing system GLAS AG 25 March 1976 [26 March 1975 2 June 1975] 11981/76 Heading E1R A glazing system comprises rows 2, 3 of U-shaped panes 1 arranged in opposed pairs and fixed by upper and lower frame structures 10 which consist of heat-insulating material at least on their outer surfaces and which provide support and contact surfaces 12, 13 for positioning the panes so that a space is left between the opposed legs of the panes. Adjacent panes in a row are abutting and may have a sealant between them. Adjacent sections of frame are held together by pins in apertures 18 in superposed lugs 17. The pins may project from a retaining block 19. A further plain sheet of glass 4 or a blind may be positioned in a groove 20 between the U-shaped panes. For Figure see next column
