Abstract

1527139 Reciprocating machines TECUMSEH PRODUCTS CO 19 Sept 1975 [19 Sept 1974] 33397/76 Divided out of 1527137 Heading H2A [Also in Division F1] In a reciprocating gas compressor wherein an armature 40 and a piston 42 are driven in one direction by a magnetic circuit 30 and are returned by a pair of coil springs 110, 112, the coil springs have substantially parallel axes, zero pitch, and linear characteristics, and each has one end fixed relative to the circuit 30 and the other end clamped to a common side of the armature 40.
