1525338 Ball joints SUPRA AUTOMOTIVE Ltd 15 Feb 1977 [17 Feb 1976] 06103/76 Heading E2F In a ball joint a housing 10 has a blind bore 18 having a pad of wear resistant material 20 with a part-spherical surface 22 located in the end of the bore 18, a ring of self-lubrication or low-friction material is also located in the bore and a ball-ended pin 30 seats on the pad and is contacted by the ring, the wall of the housing adjacent the mouth of the bore being directed inwardly at 34 to confine the parts in intimate working contact.
