Abstract

1525316 Shelving D LYDDON and P V LYDDON 30 Nov 1976 [28 July 1976] 31406/76 Heading A4B A shelving construction for use as a display stand includes a main structural component 11 made substantially wholly of fibreglass and synthetic plastics, the component 11 comprising an intermediate, vertical portion and two integral, horizontal flanges 11A, 11B extending forwardly from the top and bottom respectively of the intermediate portion, the latter having at least one shelf 13 secured thereto. The shelves 13 may be secured by adhesive, bolts, or by brackets engaged with slotted uprights 19 secured to the component 11. U-shaped end-pieces 10 may be secured to the edges of the main component 11. A straight stand may be combined with a curved stand having a main component 511 supporting shelves 513. The curved stand may be concave or convex and curved stands may be combined with each other.
