1525186 Spectacle nose pads MARWITZ & HAUSER 8 Oct 1976 [11 Oct 1975] 41962/76 Heading G2J A nose pad(s) for spectacles are made from a material which can be injection moulded and has a shore D hardness of 7 to 30. The preferred materials are a PVC known under the Trade Mark Vestolit (hardness of 15-17) and silicone rubber of hardness 7-11. The pad may be a one piece pad designed to clip on to the rims and over the bridge, or two individual pads, one to each side of the nose, attached to the frame by means of an arm.
