Abstract

1521196 Supply circuits for X-ray tubes SIEMENS AG 18 March 1976 [30 May 1975] 11033/76 Heading H2H [Also in Division H5] In an X-ray diagnostic installation, comprising a plurality of X-ray tubes with a common power supply which can be made to provide a selected tube with one of a group of selected predetermined settings of tube voltage, filament current and exposure time, by means of two co-operating groups of switches, the power supply includes a high voltage transformer 55 and variable ratio transformer 56 to provide the tube voltage, a transformer 53<SP>1</SP> to provide the filament voltage, and various contacts 43-49 and 57 of a relay 42 operated by a tube setting selector switch 11. The predetermined setting switches may be cut out, and tube voltage and mAs-product freely adjusted by selectors 64 and 62.
