1520926 Ferrite electrodes TDK ELECTRONICS CO Ltd 7 Oct 1975 [23 Oct 1974] 40926/75 Heading C1J [Also in Division C7] A sintered anode comprising 90-55 mol. per cent iron oxide calculated as Fe 2 O 3 , and 10-45 mol. per cent of a metal oxide calculated as Mo (wherein M is at least one of Mn, Ni, Co, Mg, Cu and Zn) is used in a method of cathodically protecting a metal vessel containing an aqueous solution of an electrolyte. Ni, Mn, Co, Mg, Cu, Zn, MnCoZn, CuNi, and MnCuNi ferrites are exemplified.
