Abstract
1520631 Steam exhaust heads CURWEN & NEWBERY Ltd 7 Aug 1975 [8 May 1974] 20216/74 Heading F4A A steam exhaust head 9 (particularly for use in the outlet 7 of a blowdown tank 4 fed by a boiler 1, but suitable for other uses such as in conjunction with boiler safety valve 25) is rectangular or square in plan cross-section (Fig. 4) and is provided with baffle plates 18 between a lower inlet 17 and an upper outlet 15. An alternative inlet connection is provided at 20 and a drain outlet is formed at 10. A modified baffle arrangement is disclosed (Fig. 5, not shown),
