Abstract

1520316 Aerials INTERNATIONAL STANDARD ELECTRIC CORP 28 July 1975 [26 July 1974] 31407/75 Heading H4A An aerial arrangement which may be used indoors for reception of television signals comprises telescopic active element 1, Fig. 1, mounted on a support 3, attached to a leg 4, which is mounted on receiver 5, and a flat reflector 2, which is earthed. The reflector may be cylindrical (Fig. 2, not shown) or spherical (Fig. 3, not shown). In Fig. 4, the reflector 42 is a paraboloid and the aerial is mounted on a free standing base 8. A coaxial line 7 is used to connect the aerial to the receiver. It is stated that the aerial has useful gain in both the VHF and UHF bands.
