1520107 Lubricants SHELL INTERNATIONALE RESEARCH MAATSCHAPPIJ BV 18 Aug 1975 [19 Aug 1974] 36368/74 Heading C5F An oil composition comprises:-(a) a mineral or synthetic lubricating oil, or both, (b) 0À1-3% wt. of a sulphurized or phosphosulphurized fat, (c) 0À1-5% wt. of an organic phosphite containing at least one, e.g. two, alkyl or alkenyl group of 12 to 24 carbon atoms, (d) 0À1-5% wt. of an alkaline earth salt of an organic acid, e.g. a neutral or overbased naphthasulphonate or alkylsalicylate, and (e) 0À1-5% wt. of an ester of a fatty acid having 8 to 24 carbon atoms, e.g. isopropyl oleate.
