Abstract

1519652 Hair dryer GILLETTE CO 9 March 1977 [21 April 1976] 16218/76 Heading A5R [Also in Division F1] A hand held hair dryer comprises a tangential flow for 6, Fig. 2, at least some of the blades 7 of which constitute or carry resistance heating elements to heat air displaced by the fan. The fan blades may be made of an electrically insulating material overwound with wire resistance heating elements, or of a composite resistance heating material and may be connected to the electrical supply through wiper arms 11 and 12 Fig. 1, and slip rings 13 and 14.
