Abstract

1519278 Watch cases HEWLETT PACKARD CO 1 April 1977 [26 April 1976] 13854/77 Heading G3T A case, e.g. for a watch, comprises a housing 20 with a cavity 22, a cover 36 with a hole 38, and a ring 26 which can be engaged both in the cavity and in the hole 38 to secure the parts together by rotation of the ring. As shown the ring has a radial split 32 and a flange 30 to engage four recesses 24 in the housing walls. Threaded portion 28 of the ring engages a corresponding thread 40 in the cover. Slots 34 allow the ring to be turned by a tool, screwing it outwards and into the cover.
