Abstract

1518081 Panel radiators MYSON HEATING PRODUCTS Ltd 21 Aug 1975 [22 May 1974] 22802/74 Heading F4S [Also in Division B3] A panel radiator produced according to the parent Specification is provided with an elongate cover at the ends and preferably also at the top of the panel. When a top panel is provided it may be in the form of a grille (Fig. 4). In the case of a twin panel radiator, Fig. 2, end cover plates 34 may have wire or strip spring retaining elements 38 for engagement behind water ducts on the inner faces of the panels, and a top grille may be similarly retained. In the case of a single panel radiator, Fig. 6, end and top covers 32, 38 are secured together by corner pieces 48, the end cover being retained by a clip 42 engaging behind a union 20, and the top cover 32 having a clip 44 engaging the top of a convector channel (not shown) on the rear face of the panel. By providing cover plates down each end of the radiator a substantially enclosed convector channel is defined between the radiator panel and the adjacent wall or between the two panels of a double-panel unit.
