Abstract

1517859 Seals UDO ADOLF SCHINDLING AG 8 Dec 1976 [16 Dec 1975] 51273/76 Heading F2B A vacuum pressure control element has a cup-shaped housing 1 sealed on its open face by an elastic diaphragm which turns over the edge 3 of the housing 1 and is secured behind a radial projection 5 of the housing by a ring 8 bearing on a shoulder 11 of the housing. The embodiment shows a moulded ring 8 with a cylindrical extension 12 which serves to protect the diaphragm and also to assist manipulation, slots 13 and 14 to reduce rigidity, and small latching projections 15 which mate with recesses 16 formed in the shoulder 11.
