Abstract

1517467 Vehicle bodies SKEGA AB 16 Aug 1976 [25 Aug 1975] 34055/76 Heading B7B A load carrying body for a transport vehicle comprises a framework 1 having an elastomer layer 5 suspended within the framework and supported on a carrying layer 6 also suspended within the framework. As shown in Fig. 1 the carrying layer 6 consists of transverse ropes 7 forming endless loops and suspended about holders 10 associated with longitudinal upper girders 4 of the framework. The elastomer layer 5 is formed along its longitudinal edges with suspension strips 13, Fig. 3, which engage with the holders 10 and/or with support shoulders 15 on the girders 4. The layer 5 is clamped against bars 12 welded to girder 4 by a clamping strip 16. The layer 5 at its forward edge is provided with a holding strip 21 which is attached by means of bolts and nuts to a flange 22 secured on the lower edge of the front wall 20.
