1517288 Lamps LUCAS ELECTRICAL Ltd 17 Nov 1975 [7 Dec 1974] 53038/74 Heading F4R A vehicle lamp comprises a lens 11 and a neutral density light absorbing member 16 which cover the mouth of a reflector 13, the member having a plurality of parallel elements 18 so arranged that externally incident light which enters the lamp and is reflected out again is reduced in intensity by the member and suffers a further reduction in intensity when it is inclined at more than a predetermined angle (15 degrees) to a plane parallel to the elements.
