Abstract

1516097 Roll dispenser SWISH PRODUCTS Ltd 26 Sept 1975 [12 Oct 1974] 44283/74 Heading B8M A web 14 is pulled off a web roll 15 in a dispenser container 10 at an angle (see Fig. 1) against a pivotable member 16 of the dispenser whereby the member 16 rocks and clamps a web portion between its clamping portion 19 and a clamping portion 12 of a second member 11 of the dispenser in order than the withdrawn web portion can be severed by the cutting edge 18 of the member 16. The container 10 may be made of metal and/or plastics material. The member 16 may also be made of metal or plastics material. The clamping coaction can be obtained by providing the member 11, which is openable, and the member 16 with complementing grooves and ribs or teeth or high friction pad and serrations, Figs. 2-5 (not shown).
