Abstract

1515536 Transverse web registering EASTMAN KODAK CO 10 Sept 1975 [10 Sept 1974] 37288/75 Heading B8R A device for transverse web registering comprises a roller 11 mounted for limited axial slidable movement on ball bearing 56 and pivotal movement about a caster axis 30, against the constraint of a member 60 and a gimbal axis 20 provided by a self-aligning bearing 55. The caster axis intersects the gimbal axis, which is parallel to the plane of the web portion 15 approaching the roller 11, at right angles thereto and normally to the plane at a location upstream of the roller. The ball bearing 55 may be replaced by a flexible disc.
