1513133 Fibrillatable films F M ASPIN 6 May 1945 [8 May 1974 (2)] 20196/74 and 20199/74 Heading B5B Profiled film, intended for textile applications, e.g. for fibrillating into fibres, is passed around spaced, grooved, heated rollers 8, 9 on the way to the stretching godet rollers 10, 11, 12. The grooves on the surface of rollers 8, 9 are parallel and accept the ribs on the film which is thereby heated more efficiently for the subsequent stretching step.
