Abstract

1512642 Valves BOC INTERNATIONAL Ltd 24 July 1975 [30 April 1974] 18972/74 Heading F2V A valve for attachment to a gas cylinder has a closure member 30 of elastomeric material rotatably carried by a spindle 12 in screwthreaded engagement with a member 10 or with the walls of the valve body. The member 30 is secured to the spindle by a C-shaped extension (40) Fig. 3 (not shown) in engagement with a recess 29 and co-operates with an inlet 22 and an outlet 9, 24 adapted to receive a hose. A drain hole 7 for liquid and a lip 11 to facilitate lifting are provided. In a modification a brass collar (42) Fig. 4 (not shown) connects the closure member with the spindle.
