Abstract
1511569 Measuring density MMG AUTOMATIKA MUVEK 1 Dec 1975 49279/75 Heading G1G [Also in Division H3] A circuit arrangement suitable for producing a linear relationship between a measured parameter e.g. density measured by a fluid and gas density probe of the oscillating type, and an output voltage by controlling the input output characteristics of a frequency to voltage converter to compensate the non-linearity introduced by the measuring device, wherein the f#v converter comprises a conventional linear converter e.g. a diode pump of the cup and bucket type, feeding a D.C. amplifier with the amplifier output and a constant voltage sourve U T connected in series to provide a supply voltage for the converter variable in dependence upon the input frequency. The input output characteristic may be further adjusted by varying the gain of amplifier E e.g. by varying R5 and by causing resistors R 10 , R 11 to progressively shunt R 6 at higher output voltage levels.
