1510831 IC engine induction manifolds BAYERISCHE MOTOREN WERKE AG 23 July 1975 30846/75 Heading F1B An I.C. engine induction manifold comprises a distributer housing 209 in communication with two groups of induction passages 211 of equal length, the passages of each group having curved sections which are concentric and having sections in the area of communication with the housing 209 which are parallel to one another, the passages whose curved section have smallest radius also having second curved sections curved oppositely to the first curved sections so that these passages are formed as partial S shapes. The manifold is formed in two parts 210, 211 joined along a plane 208 each part being free from re-entrant portions to enable manufacture by pressure die-casting.
