Abstract

1510773 Milk replacer compositions BRITISH PETROLEUM CO Ltd 9 March 1977 [22 March 1976] 09873/77 Addition to 1459297 Heading A2B The process of Parent Specification is modified in that the intermediate fatted protein product is ground in the liquid phase, to give particles of size less than 100 microns with 1% or less of the particles having a size greater than 50 microns, before mixing with the supplementary milk replacer ingredient. The grinding may take place at 55-65‹C and atmospheric pressure. Suitable materials are specified, (some of which are not mentioned in Parent Specification).
