Abstract

1509897 Reciprocating pumps ARMADILLO FOODS INTERNATIONAL Ltd 4 April 1975 [25 April 1974] 18119/74 Heading F1A A pump for viscous liquid, e.g. mustard or ketchup, comprises a container 10 for the liquid and manual pumping means 63 delivering to a tube 13 having either a line of spaced outlets 54 to 58, or an axial slot, so that the liquid is dispensed at a plurality of spaced-apart points, e.g. on to a hamburger. Outlets 54 to 58 are of different sizes to provide equal deliveries therefrom. The pumping means comprises a cylinder 63 reciprocable relative to a piston fixed to part 53 of tube 13, reciprocation being effected by rocking of a handle 41 which acts via a shaft and oscillating levers 48 on a spring-loaded plate 36 connected by rods 61 to cylinder 63.
