Abstract

1508994 Blinds and shutters, lintels CATNIC COMPONENTS Ltd 25 April 1975 [25 April 1974] 18185/74 Headings E1J and E1K A lintel has walls 2, 3, 4 forming a channel shape and walls 9 adjacent the ends of the lintel. Vertical plates 9 are secured to the top wall 3 of the lintel and to plates 8, and support a spindle (14) of a roller blind or shutter (10). A pulley (19) at one end of the blind takes an operating cord (20) which passes through a guide (21) and between rollers (23), The roller is reversible. The edges of the shutter run in guides 28 set into the sides of the aperture. The central portion of the lintel is partly closed by a plate (24 Fig. 5) with a filler (25), a removable panel 31 being secured to window or door frame (30).
