1508220 Electric battery lamps; miners' lamps OLDHAM & SON Ltd and H MORTON 3 Nov 1976 [22 Dec 1975] 52385/75 Heading F4R A portable electric lamp, e.g. a miners' cap- or hand-lamp, comprises a lamp body including a lens, a reflector and a bulb-holder, the bulbholder being surrounded by an axially movable translucent diffuser sleeve slidable between a retracted position, in which the light is reflected to form a spot beam, and a forward position in which the lamp provides diffuse illumination.
