1505980 Azo pyridine pigments CIBA-GEIGY AG 19 Feb 1976 [21 Feb 1975] 06570/76 Heading C4P [Also in Division C2] Novel azo pigments have the formula wherein A represents the radical of a heterocyclic diazo component having at least 1 nitrogen atom in the heterocyclic ring. They are prepared by diazotization and coupling, and used for bulk colouring organic material of high molecular weight, e.g. celluloses, aminoplasts, polycarbonates, polyolefins and polyacrylonitrile, and printing inks.
