Abstract

150,574. Thomas, T. L. Nov. 28, 1919. Rollers, land; manure and seed distributors; frames for implements; adjusting parts of implements. - In wide compound land rollers, corn drills, manure-distributors, &c. in which auxiliary end implements are adapted to be moved into position behind the main implement for passing through gateways &c., special means are provided for connecting the auxiliary implements to the main implement and for moving them into position. The draw-bar of each auxiliary implement 10, 11 is pivotally connected to a two-armed lever 14 pivoted on the frame of the main implement 1. The lever 14 is retained in either of two positions by the engagement of one of two recesses 15, 16 with a pin 7, and in both positions transmits the tractive power for moving the auxiliary implement. The throwing over of the lever by hand from one position to the other is facilitated by backing the main implement. The traction pole of the main implement is adjustable for attachment to different tractors. In a modification, the lever 14 has one arm only and two stop pins are provided.
