Stays.-The stays a of hoods for perambulators and like vehicles are bent over at the ends b to form pivots, and are assembled in bracket attachments comprising a plate d formed with apertures c to receive the ends b and with an eye m for attachment to the vehicle, and a cover plate e having two hooks f on its upper edge for engagement over the upper edge of the plate d on either side of a central tongue g, the cover-plate being finally secured to the plate d by means of a single rivet k.
