Abstract

1505080 Seals DOBSON PARK INDUSTRIES Ltd 16 June 1975 [11 Sept 1974] 39611/74 Heading F2B A seal for a rotating or reciprocating member comprises an elastomeric double acting sealing ring 14 loaded through a ring 20 by a wave spring 21. The spring is supported by a mild steel ring 22 having a flange 24 and the sealing ring 14 of nitrile rubber is sandwiched between anti-extrusion rings 15, 16 of cotton reinforced nitrile rubber, the ring 20 being of spheroidal graphite cast iron.
