Abstract
150,321. Roux (dit Roux-Delisle), C. P. E. Aug. 20, 1919, [Convention date] Drawings to Specification. Violins and like bowed instruments.-The bellies and backs of bowed instruments such as violins &c. are substantially flat, i.e. have only a slight curvature which is produced by bending. The instrument shown is of guitar shape. The two symmetrical sides are secured by pegs or the like, and sound-holes are rectilinear. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) states that the sides may be fixed by counter-plates. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 1524/85, 7961/09, and 112,469.
