Abstract

1502192 Stamping; punching BRUDERER AG 19 Aug 1975 [3 Sept 1974] 34386/75 Headings B3Q and B3W A work component, e.g. the ram 10 of a punching or stamping press, is driven, through links 11, levers 5 and a connecting-rod 1, from a crank or eccentric shaft 12, one end of each of the levers 5 being connected to stroke-displacement screws 7. As shown, an eccentric sleeve 14 provides for stroke-length adjustment and has a pocket 25 engageable by an hydraulic plunger 24 for holding the sleeve during adjustment of the stroke. Screws 7 are engaged by axiallystationary nuts 8 rotatable by worm gears 8a when hydraulic pressure on the screw-pistons 9 is released. Two or more parallel connecting- rod drives may be provided. Links 6 or sliding couplings are provided between the levers 5 and screws 7. Balance is effected by weights 17 pivoted at the top to levers 18 and at the bottom to levers 16 which are connected by links 15 to the levers 5. The levers 18 are connected to each other and to the connecting-rod 1 by a rod 22 and are connected to fixed structure by links 19.
