Abstract

1502103 Burners C C TRAPP 12 Aug 1975 [15 Aug 1974] 35900/74 Heading F4T A gas burner comprises a tubular element 12 having at least one aperture 10 in which a flame port insert 13 is received, said insert being provided with one or more flame ports 14. The insert is an interference fit in the aperture. A gauze 15 and a perforated distributor phase 16 may be carried by the insert. The flame ports may vary in shape, Figs. 6, 7 (not shown) and the inserts may also vary in shape, Figs. 2-5 (not shown). Flame retention holes as well as flame ports, may be provided and the gauzes and distribution plates may be located in elements 12 below the inserts.
