Abstract

1502031 Semi-moist pet foods QUAKER OATS CO 30 March 1976 [20 May 1975] 12779/76 Heading A2B Semi-moist pet foods which normally contain sucrose have at least part of the sucrose replaced by a composition comprising a mixture of corn syrup and at least one of propylene glycol and 1, 3 butane diol. The pet food may contain meat protein, vegetable protein, meat by products, edible acids, antimycotics and other vitamin and mineral additives. The corn syrup is present in an amount between 40% and 90% by weight of the composition whilst the polyhydric component comprises at least 10% to 60%.
