Abstract

1501936 Valves PEGLER-HATTERSLEY Ltd 16 June 1976 [18 June 1975] 25887/75 Heading F2V [Also in Division B3] A bellows-sealed, disc-type valve has a stem 14 provided at one end with a flange 15 which seats in a groove in a disc (not shown). The stem is surrounded by a flexible metallic bellows 11 which is welded at a first cuff end portion 11b to a lip 17 of a flange 16 formed on the stem and at a second cuff-end portion 11a to a spigot 12 formed on a bonnet 10 located around the stem. The spigot is formed with a lip 13 against which the end of the portion 11a abuts.
