Abstract

1499108 Dispenser cartons PERFARAP Ltd 3 Dec 1975 [3 Sept 1974] 38500/74 Headings B8P and B8M A dispensing carton for perforated cling film or other foil comprises a box formed from a blank 1, with a slot 19 extending parallel to the axis of a roll of foil within the carton through which the foil may be withdrawn and a single rigid triangular severing plate 39 against which portions of the foil may be severed at the perforations. The blank 1 defines top and bottom walls 2, 3, and two-part side walls 4, 10; 5, 6, end closures being defined by flaps 25, 25<SP>1</SP>. Further flap portions 27, 27<SP>1</SP> and end flaps 33, 33<SP>1</SP> have cut-out regions 28, 28<SP>1</SP>, 34, 34<SP>1</SP> which define bearings within the carton for ends (54), (55), Fig. 5 (not shown), of a core (56) within the roll 57 of foil. The plate 39 is preferably attached to a mounting plate 38 which is rivetted to the carton, and a flap 20 resists retraction of the foil through the slot 19.
