1497958 Fermenting cellulosic material to produce alcohol BIO RESEARCH CENTER CO Ltd 12 March 1976 [8 Sept 1975] 09894/76 Addition to 1488318 Heading C6E The process for producing alcohol from a cellulosic material described and claimed in the parent Specification is improved by employing as the cellulase source an entire aqueous culture broth obtained by cultivating a cellulolytic microorganism e.g. Trichoderma viride ATCC 26, 921 in an aqueous nutrient medium in the presence of a cellulosic material, whereby greater yields of alcohol (ethanol) are obtained.
