Abstract

1497028 Attaching watch straps H DIRSCHERL 14 July 1976 [4 Aug 1975 29 March 1976 28 May 1976] 29334/76 Heading A3H One blade 5.1 of a two-bladed leaf spring 5 is enclosed in a pocket between outer 2 and inner 3 layers of a watch strap, the layers being welded together after impregnation with a solution of a synthetic resin. The second blade 5.2 may be either enclosed in a similar pocket as shown in Fig. 2 or merely covered by the outer layer 2 as in Figs. 8-10 (not shown). The pocket for blade 5.1 may be preformed using a template or the blade may be inserted before welding, the pocket being formed around the blade. In use, the strap attachment bar 4 of a watch is gripped by the covered leaf spring to attach the watch to the watch strap.
