Abstract

1496609 Mountings for taps DELTAFLOW Ltd 21 Sept 1976 [26 Sept 1975] 39470/75 Heading A4N [Also in Division F2] A water tap 1 is secured to a basic &c. 2 by inserting a threaded shank 3 through a washer 8 coated on both sides with adhesive and through a hole 4 in the basin and securing the shank by means of a further washer 6 and a nut 7. The washer 8 is preferably of expanded polystyrene and is compressed between the basin and an annular shoulder 5. The adhesive on both faces of the washer is initially coated with a protective film. The adhesive is stated to hold the tap against undesired rotation.
