Abstract

1495378 Photo-electric testing ERNST LEITZ WETZLAR GmbH 7 Sept 1976 [25 Sept 1975] 37025/76 Addition to 1322669 Heading G1A [Also in Dvision G2] The arrangement disclosed in Specification 1322669 is improved by interposing an additional readily replaceable housing between the optical train of the microscope and the housing containing the photometer assembly. The additional housing may incorporate a monochromator (e.g. as housing 54 in Fig. 3) or a scanning mirror (55) Fig. 4, (not shown), or may merely contain a folding mirror (52), Fig. 2 (not shown). A further housing (53 Fig. 3) may also be readily replaced and may contain a simple relay lens 61, or may contain optics whereby the beam may be rotated about the optic axis Figs. 5a, 5b, (not shown). The versatility of the apparatus of the main Specification is thereby increased.
