Abstract

1494839 Metal vapour lamps GENERAL ELECTRIC CO 10 Feb 1975 [1 April 1974] 5588/75 Heading H1D To secure the terminations of the tubular ceramic envelope of a high pressure Na vapour lamp, fittings 50 as in Specification 1,437,850, but side-welded in place of butt welding, are attached to the e.g., Nb, termination 18 at the lower end and correspondingly at the top. A holding jig for side welding is illustrated (Fig. 5, not shown).
