1494107 Sweeping machines J A MOREL 16 Dec 1974 54279/74 Heading E1G -[Also in Division A1] In a ground sweeping machine or attachment, grass cuttings or other debris from a rotary sweeping brush or paddle 8 are elevated through a rearwardly-inclined rectangular tube 4-5 towards a receptacle 37 by one or more further brushes or paddles 15, -the brushes 8, 15 having the same diameter and being rotated in the same direction at the same or different speeds. The tube 4-5 has a lower curved deflector 5a and an upper pivotal deflector hood 33. The receptacle 37 has doors 38, 40. An optional floating forward brush rotates freely to avoid windscatter from the brush 8.
