1,093,412. Sweeping machines. D. G. WISEMAN. Jan. 26, 1966 [Oct. 27, 1964], No. 43739/64. Heading E1G. A sweeping machine for attachment to the hydraulic lift gear of a tractor has a box for receiving the sweepings and at least one rotary brush driven from the tractor power take-off, adjustable ground engaging means 23 being provided for determining the height of the brush from the ground. There may be two brushes 20b, 21 b, with interengaging brush elements, rotated in opposite directions by chain drive 22. Sweepings are thrown against a deflector 31 into a wire netting box 26 having discharge means 27 at the bottom operable by a cable from the driving position of the tractor.
