1493573 Car transporters ANTHONY CARRIMORE (SALES) Ltd 21 Oct 1974 [20 Oct 1973] 48970/73 Addition to 1389236 Heading B7B An upper deck 20 is raised and lowered by a single ram 13 acting through cables 25, 26. The cables pass over pulleys 9, 12 at the tops of pillars 18, 19 and are connected to runner blocks (27), Figs. 2-5 (not shown), which support the upper deck and which slide in the pillars 18 and 19. The top of each pillar is provided with a catch mechanism, Figs. 2-5 (not shown), which retains the deck 20 in its upper position and which is released by slightly raising the deck.
