Abstract

1326816 Parking apparatus K KLAUS 19 April 1971 [7 March 1970 20 March 1970] 23470/71 Heading B8E Platforms 3, 4, Fig. 1, for parking cars are raised and lowered together on guides 2 to bring the platform 3 into loading position, and the platform 4 is independently tiltable by a ram 5 into the position 7 to permit loading. Two fixed lower platforms and a tiltable upper platform may be provided, Fig. 2 (not shown). Fig. 3 shows an arrangement in which the upper platform 14 has a telescopic portion 14. Alternatively a movable ramp may be provided. Fig. 5 shows an embodiment in which the platforms 3, 4 are raised by a ram 5 which also brings the platform 4 into a horizontal position. The sloping and horizontal positions are defined by stops 20, 21.
