Abstract

1493397 Stacking sheets ROLAND OFFSETMASCHINENFABRIK FABER & SCHLEICHER AG 7 Nov 1974 [7 Nov 1973] 48219/74 Heading B8R In the sheet stacking apparatus of an offset printing machine the entry of sheets into the space between the joggers 2 and the stack, Fig. 1, or between the end stops 11 and the stack, Fig. 5, is prevented by providing intercepting members 3 or 9 which bridge the space even when the joggers are retracted. The members are movable between a position wherein they intercept sheets arriving on the stack and a position clear of such sheets. The intercepting members are moved in time with the arriving sheets by being fixed to the joggers or operated by a cam 10.
