1492986 Stem tubes STONE MANGANESE MARINE Ltd 16 June 1975 [17 June 1974] 26783/74 Heading B7S A marine propeller is mounted so that it's centre of gravity Cp is substantially coincident with the geometric centre of the aftermost stem tube bearing 11, Cb. The propeller is connected to the propeller shaft 10 by a drive plate 2 and has internal bearing surfaces 18 which support the propeller on the exterior of the stem tube during shaft removal. The bearing 11 has sockets 11a for pressurized oil from an oil supply feed 13.
