Abstract

1491873 Transferring articles from a conveyer into a carton on another conveyer BRADMAN-LAKE Ltd 19 June 1975 [14 Aug 1974] 35737/74 Heading B8A and B8C A pusher 1 for moving articles (not shown) from a conveyer 24 into cartons (not shown) on a conveyer 27, is caused to move across the conveyer 24 by being pivotally mounted on a link of a roller chain running between sprockets 18, 19, the altitude of the pusher being controlled by a link 4 connected between the pusher 1 and a member 3 connected to a further link or links of the roller chain. The member 3 is guided by guides 22, 23, on the operative run of the roller chain. The pusher 1 is formed with a collar 6 which is mounted on a bearing 7. The latter surrounds a boss 8 which is secured to rollers of the roller chain at 9, 9.
